अनुवाद

Vasudeva said: 'O Radheya, you have honored the brahmins learned in the Vedas, and without envy, with restraint, you have questioned them closely about the true meaning of truth. You yourself, O Karna, know the eternal teachings of the Vedas; you are firmly grounded in the subtle teachings of dharma. Knowers of the shastras say that a son born of an unmarried girl, and a son conceived before marriage and brought into the husband's house, both have as father the one who took that girl as his wife. So it is with you, O Karna: by dharma you are the son of Pandu. By the ruling of the scriptures of dharma, come — you shall become king. On the father's side the Parthas are yours, and on the mother's side the Vrishnis are yours: recognize these two lineages as your own, O best of men.'
