वासुदेवश् च संयन्ता योद्धा चैव धनंजयः ॥
गाण्डीवं च धनुर् दिव्यं ते चाश्वा वातरंहसः ॥
अभेद्यं कवचं दिव्यम् अक्षय्यौ च महेषुधी ॥
अस्त्रग्रामश् च माहेन्द्रो रौद्रः कौबेर एव च ॥
याम्यश् च वारुणश् चैव गदाश् चोग्रप्रदर्शनाः ॥
वज्रादीनि च मुख्यानि नानाप्रहरणानि वै ॥
दानवानां सहस्राणि हिरण्यपुरवासिनाम् ॥
हतान्य् एकरथेनाजौ कस् तस्य सदृशो रथः ॥
एष हन्याद् धि संरम्भी बलवान् सत्यविक्रमः ॥
तव सेनां महाबाहुः स्वां चैव परिपालयन् ॥

Thousands of danavas, inhabitants of Hiranyapura, were destroyed by him in battle with a single chariot: who could be his equal as a ratha? This mighty-armed one, strong, fierce-tempered, and of true valor, could destroy your army while at the same time protecting his own.'

A special place is given to Arjuna together with Krishna: here the ratha is assessed not merely as a warrior but as an entire fighting reality, in which charioteer, weapons, horses, armor, astras, and inner resolve are joined into a single force.
