अनुवाद

Vaishampayana said: 'Having heard this, the son of Kunti, O best of the Bharatas, called all his brothers aside to a secluded place and spoke these words: "My spies among the troops of Dhritarashtra's son bring me news of this past night. Duryodhana, it is said, asked the great-vowed son of the river: 'O lord, in what time will you destroy the army of the sons of Pandu?' He answered the evil-minded son of Dhritarashtra: 'In a month.' Drona too promised the same span of time. We have heard that Gautama named twice that time. The son of Drona, the master of great weapons, promised to do it in ten nights."'
