अनुवाद

There elephants and chariots, adorned with gold of Jambunada, shone like clouds with lightning. The banners of your warriors, O lord of men, took many forms; in their golden armlets they gleamed like blazing fires. The bright standards of both allied and enemy hosts, O Bharata, were seen like the banners of Mahendra in his heavenly abodes. Heroes in golden armor, shining like fire and sun, looked like blazing planets. Bull-eyed great archers, bearing banners, with varied weapons raised and guards upon their hands, stood at the head of the army.
