सर्वतीर्थफलं लभते य एवं वेद । देहबन्धाद्विमुच्यते इत्युपनिषत्

The first section ends with the usual phala-śruti; the measure of such promises has been discussed more than once. It is worth noting that liberation is called deha-bandhād vimucyate, "released from the bondage of the body." That is, the body is named the bondage, not the world and not desire.
This definition is worth comparing with what the whole section was leading to, for a mismatch appears here. For twenty-five verses the book spoke of Vṛndāvana, of cowherds and cowherd girls, of the embrace the sages requested; and, as we read in the first verse, they asked for anyonya-vigraham dhāryam, "a separate body" — in order to touch. And it ends by promising liberation from the body.
This contradiction is worth noting, for it is telling: the closing formula is taken from the common stock and attached to a book that was speaking of something else. The Vaiṣṇava side distinguishes this, and so does not speak of liberation from the body in general. She speaks of liberation from the material body and the receiving of another, sat-cid-ānanda, discussed when reading the Bhasma-jābāla (2.63).
This distinction is not a dodge: it follows from the book itself. One who asked for a body for embracing could not have been asking for bodilessness; and the promise attached at the end must be read according to what was asked at the beginning.
