译文

"Pierced by Shalva's arrows, the son of Rukmini swiftly loosed an arrow that strikes at vital points. It pierced Shalva's armor and his heart; he fell unconscious. Seeing the lord of Saubha fallen, the danavas fled, and Shalva's army cried out. But Shalva rose, regained his senses, and swiftly loosed an arrow at Pradyumna. It struck him hard in the region of the collarbone, and the hero sank down in his chariot. Shalva roared, filling the earth with the sound, and, as my son fell into a swoon, loosed further heavy arrows. Struck by them, Pradyumna lay motionless on the field of battle."
