जनमेजय उवाच
अत्यद्भुतम् इदं कर्म पार्थस्यामिततेजसः ॥
धृतराष्ट्रो महातेजाः श्रुत्वा विप्र किम् अब्रवीत् ॥
वैशंपायन उवाच
शक्रलोकगतं पार्थं श्रुत्वा राजाम्बिकासुतः ॥
द्वैपायनाद् ऋषिश्रेष्ठात् संजयं वाक्यम् अब्रवीत् ॥
janamejaya uvāca
atyadbhutam idaṃ karma pārthasyāmitatejasaḥ ||
dhṛtarāṣṭro mahātejāḥ śrutvā vipra kim abravīt ||
vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca
śakralokagataṃ pārthaṃ śrutvā rājāmbikāsutaḥ ||
dvaipāyanād ṛṣiśreṣṭhāt saṃjayaṃ vākyam abravīt ||
Janamejaya said: "O brahmin, what did mighty Dhritarashtra say upon hearing of this astonishing feat of Partha, whose splendor is boundless?" Vaishampayana answered: "Having heard from the greatest of sages, Dvaipayana, that Partha had gone to the world of Shakra, the son of Ambika turned to Sanjaya."
