译文

When the night had passed and the sun had risen, all the ascetics, having performed their morning rites, gathered together and told Dyumatsena again and again, never tiring of it, of Savitri's great and blessed fortune. Then all the subjects came from the land of the Shalvas and reported: the former king had been slain by his own minister together with his helpers and kinsmen, and the enemy's army had scattered. The whole people was of one mind: sighted or blind, let Dyumatsena be their king. "With this resolve we were sent to you. The chariots have already arrived, and your fourfold army. Go forth, O king, blessings upon you: your victory has been proclaimed in the city. Take up for long years the seat of your fathers and grandfathers." And seeing the king sighted and of goodly form, all of them, their eyes wide with wonder, fell with their heads to his feet.
