译文

'Dhritarashtra has always held you in the highest regard; and you are also a friend of our teachers Drona and Kripa. Therefore I ask you to send a message (to the Kurus) in the interest of the Pandavas. Even beyond this, we all resolve that you should send them word. If this chief of the Kuru race makes peace on just terms, then the brotherly bond between the Kurus and the Pandavas will not be gravely harmed. But if the son of Dhritarashtra, filled with pride, foolishly refuses to make peace, then, after sending word to the others, summon us as well. Then the wielder of the Gandiva will grow wroth, and the dull-witted, wicked Duryodhana, together with his counselors and kinsmen, will meet his fate.'
