स गृहं धृतराष्ट्रस्य प्राविशच् छत्रुकर्शनः ॥
पाण्डुरं पुण्डरीकाक्षः प्रासादैर् उपशोभितम् ॥
तिस्रः कक्ष्या व्यतिक्रम्य केशवो राजवेश्मनः ॥
वैचित्रवीर्यं राजानम् अभ्यगच्छद् अरिंदमः ॥
अभ्यागच्छति दाशार्हे प्रज्ञाचक्षुर् नरेश्वरः ॥
सहैव द्रोणभीष्माभ्याम् उदतिष्ठन् महायशाः ॥
कृपश् च सोमदत्तश् च महाराजश् च बाह्लिकः ॥
आसनेभ्यो ऽचलन् सर्वे पूजयन्तो जनार्दनम् ॥
ततो राजानम् आसाद्य धृतराष्ट्रं यशस्विनम् ॥
स भीष्मं पूजयाम् आस वार्ष्णेयो वाग्भिर् अञ्जसा ॥

译文

I swear sincerely upon my own soul that you have no wish to give all this to Krishna, neither out of virtue nor with the intent of pleasing him. O giver of great wealth, all of this betrays nothing but deceit, falsehood, and insincerity. By your outward acts, O king, I know your hidden purpose. The five Pandavas, O king, desire only five villages. Yet you are unwilling to give them even that much. Therefore you have no wish to make peace.
