译文

'These Kurus are perishing through the doing of Duryodhana. Act, O great king, so that they may not perish. Do not destroy me and Dhritarashtra after first fashioning us, as a painter fashions a picture; do not be like Prajapati, who, having created beings, afterward gathers them back. O mighty-armed one, seeing the destruction of the family, do not look upon it with indifference. But if today your judgment is lost and destruction has already drawn near, then go to the forest together with me and with Dhritarashtra. Or else, having bound the son of Dhritarashtra, utterly evil-minded and skilled in deceit, let this kingdom now be safely guarded by the Pandavas. Be gracious, O tiger among kings: a great destruction of the Pandavas, the Kurus, and kings of measureless might is in sight.'
