译文

"Then for another year she subsisted on a single fallen leaf, standing on the tips of her toes, burning with fierce anger. Thus for twelve years she scorched heaven and earth with her fervor. Though her kinsfolk tried to dissuade her, it could not be done. She then went to the land of the Vatsas, frequented by siddhas and cāraṇas, to the hermitage of great ascetics of holy conduct. There, in those sacred lands, the daughter of Kāśi, having bathed her whole body, wandered day and night wherever she pleased. She dwelt in the hermitage of Nanda, then in the auspicious hermitage of Ulūka, in the hermitage of Cyavana, and at the abode of Brahmā."
