译文

Glory to Hari! At the close of the Dvāpara age Nārada came to Brahmā and asked: "O lord, how am I, wandering over the earth, to cross beyond this Kali age?" Brahmā answered him: "Your question is a good one. I shall tell you the hidden secret of all the Vedas; keep it in your heart: by the mere utterance of the name of the primeval Lord, Nārāyaṇa, a man shakes off the [taint of] Kali."
