And, O descendant of Bharata, there was no longer room in the city of Hastinapura even for the chief commanders of Duryodhana's army. And for this reason the land of the five rivers, and the whole region called Kurujangala, and the forest of Rohitaka, equally wild, and Ahichchhatra, and Kalakuta, and the banks of the Ganga, and Varana, and Vatadhana, and the mountain ranges bordering the Yamuna — this whole vast territory, rich in grain and wealth, was entirely filled with the army of the Kauravas.
