लाङ्गूलचालनं क्ष्वेडः प्रतिरावो विवर्तनम् ॥
दन्तदर्शनम् आरावस् ततो युद्धं प्रवर्तते ॥
तत्र यो बलवान् कृष्ण जित्वा सो ऽत्ति तद् आमिषम् ॥
एवम् एव मनुष्येषु विशेषो नास्ति कश् चन ॥
सर्वथा त्व् एतद् उचितं दुर्बलेषु बलीयसाम् ॥
अनादरो विरोधश् च प्रणिपाती हि दुर्बलः ॥
पिता राजा च वृद्धश् च सर्वथा मानम् अर्हति ॥
तस्मान् मान्यश् च पूज्यश् च धृतराष्ट्रो जनार्दन ॥
पुत्रस्नेहस् तु बलवान् धृतराष्ट्रस्य माधव ॥
स पुत्रवशम् आपन्नः प्रणिपातं प्रहास्यति ॥

dantadarśanam ārāvas tato yuddhaṃ pravartate ||
tatra yo balavān kṛṣṇa jitvā so 'tti tad āmiṣam ||
evam eva manuṣyeṣu viśeṣo nāsti kaś cana ||
sarvathā tv etad ucitaṃ durbaleṣu balīyasām ||
anādaro virodhaś ca praṇipātī hi durbalaḥ ||
pitā rājā ca vṛddhaś ca sarvathā mānam arhati ||
tasmān mānyaś ca pūjyaś ca dhṛtarāṣṭro janārdana ||
putrasnehas tu balavān dhṛtarāṣṭrasya mādhava ||
sa putravaśam āpannaḥ praṇipātaṃ prahāsyati ||
He makes the unreal seem real and thereby deludes all beings. Possessed of such qualities, ever devoted to righteousness and endowed with divinity, the slayer of Madhu, this mighty-armed one, incapable of decay, will come here to prevent the slaughter of the Kurus.
