Translation

Narada said: "The region where we now find ourselves is called Rasatala, the seventh level beneath the Earth. Here dwells Surabhi, mother of all creatures, born of Amrita. She ever gives milk that is the essence of all the finest things on earth — milk which, however excellent it is and though of a single taste, arises from the essence of six different kinds of flavors. Surabhi herself, the blameless one, arose in ancient times from the mouth of the Grandsire, satisfied from drinking Amrita and disgorging the choicest things."
