Do not become a destroyer of your lineage, a base man of evil mind; do not take the wicked path. Do not consign your aged father and mother to grief." Then Drona spoke these words there to Duryodhana, who had fallen under the sway of impatience and was sighing again and again: "Keshava has spoken to you a word joined with dharma and benefit, child; so too has Bhishma, son of Shantanu. Accept this, O lord of men."'
