श्वर्यसंमूढो नै दुःखम् पेयिवान्
ते संयुगे वीर्यं जानाति पुरुर्ष
त्वां हि लोकास् त्रयः पार्थ सुरासुमानुषाः
नोत्सन्ते णे जेतुं किम् तैकः सुयोनः

na ca te saṃyuge ryaṃ ti puruṣarṣabha ||
tvāṃ hi los trayaḥ rtha sasusuranuṣāḥ ||
notsahante raṇe jetuṃ kim utaikaḥ suyodhanaḥ ||

"Blinded by the intoxication of power, he has not known sorrow and does not know your valor in battle, O bull among men. For the three worlds, Partha, with their gods, asuras, and men, do not dare to conquer you in battle -- how much less Suyodhana alone."
