द्रोणेनैषा तिः कृष्ण धार्तराष्ट्रे निवेशिता
न्ते विहितम् स्त्राणाम् तत् धाणम्
स्मिन्न् न्तर्हितं कृष्ण त्रैलोक्यम् पि र्मणि
को द्रोणो हि वेदैतद् हं स्माच् त्तमात्

droṇenaiṣā matiḥ kṛṣṇa dhārtaṣṭre niveśi ||
ante vihitam astrāṇām etat kavacadhāraṇam ||
asminn antarhitaṃ kṛṣṇa trailokyam api varmaṇi ||
eko droṇo hi vedaitad ahaṃ tasmāc ca sattamāt ||

Translation

"By Drona, Krishna, this design was instilled in the son of Dhritarashtra; this donning of armor is what is ordained at the close of the science of weapons. In it, Krishna, in this mail, even the three worlds are concealed; for Drona alone knows this, and I learned it from that most excellent one."
