घोरं रूपम् थो कृत्वा भीसेनम् भा
तिष्ठेदानीं णे पार्थ श्य मे ऽद्य राक्रमम्
को ना सुदुर्बुद्धे राक्षप्ररो ली
रोक्षं द्वृत्तं यद् भ्राता मे तस् त्वया

ghoraṃ pam atho kṛtvā bhīmasenam abhāṣata ||
tiṣṭhenīṃ raṇe rtha paśya me 'dya pakramam ||
bako ma sudurbuddhe kṣasapravaro ba ||
parokṣaṃ mama tadvṛttaṃ yad bhrā me hatas tva ||

यत् भ्राता मे हतः त्वयाyat bhrātā me hataḥ tvayāthat my brother was slain by you; that my brother was killed by you
Translation

Assuming then a terrible form, the rakshasa addressed Bhimasena: "Stand now in battle, son of Pritha, behold my valor. There was one named Baka, O foolish one, foremost of rakshasas, mighty; in my absence it came to pass that my brother was slain by you."
