संप्रेक्ष्य बाणान् नितांस् दानीं; सुर्शनः सात्यकिबावेगैः
क्रोधाद् दिक्षन्न् तिग्मतेजाः; रान् मुञ्चत् नीचित्रान्
पुनः बाणैस् त्रिभिर् ग्निल्पैर्; र्णपूर्णैर् निशितैः सुपुङ्खैः
विव्या देहाणं विभिद्य; ते सात्यकेर् विविशुः रीरम्

saṃprekṣya ṇān nihatāṃs tanīṃ; sudarśanaḥ tyakiṇavegaiḥ ||
krodhād didhakṣann iva tigmatejāḥ; śan amuñcat tapayacitrān ||
punaḥ sa ṇais tribhir agnikalpair; ākarṇarṇair niśitaiḥ supuṅkhaiḥ ||
vivyādha devaraṇaṃ vibhidya; te tyaker āviviśuḥ śaram ||

Translation

Seeing his arrows struck down by the speed of Satyaki's shafts, Sudarshana, blazing, as though wishing to burn him from wrath, loosed gold-adorned arrows. Again with three fire-like arrows, drawn to the ear, sharp, well-feathered, he struck, piercing the body-armor; they entered Satyaki's body.
