थास्याश्वान् पुनर् त्वा त्रिभिर् विव्या साथिम्
सो ऽप्लुत्य द्रुतं सूतो युयुधाथं यौ
त्स्मयन्न् भीस्य क्रुद्धः कालाप्रभः
ध्वजं चिच्छे राधेयः ताकाश् न्यपायत्
विन्वा हारा क्तिं रामृशत्
ताम् वासृजद् विध्य क्रुद्धः र्णथं प्रति
ताम् धिथिर् स्तः क्तिं हेरिष्कृताम्
न्तीं होल्काभां चिच्छे भिः रैः

athāsyāśvān punar hatvā tribhir vivyādha rathim ||
so 'vaplutya drutaṃ to yuyudhānarathaṃ yayau ||
utsmayann iva bhīmasya kruddhaḥ nalaprabhaḥ ||
dhvajaṃ ciccheda dheyaḥ paś ca nyatayat ||
sa vidhanvā maja rathaśaktiṃ pamṛśat ||
m asṛjad āvidhya kruddhaḥ karṇarathaṃ prati ||
m ādhirathir āyastaḥ śaktiṃ hemapariṣkṛtām ||
āpatantīṃ maholkābhāṃ ciccheda daśabhiḥ śaraiḥ ||

Translation

Then, having again killed his horses, he pierced the charioteer with three [arrows]; that charioteer, quickly leaping down, went off to the chariot of Yuyudhana [Satyaki]. As if smiling over Bhima, enraged, blazing like the fire of Time, Radheya cut the banner and knocked down the flags. He, bowless, O great king, seized the chariot javelin; he hurled it, swinging it, enraged, toward Karna's chariot. That javelin, adorned with gold, flying at him like a great meteor, the son of Adhiratha, straining, cut with ten arrows.
