तैस् तैर् उपायैर् बहुभी रक्ष्यमाणः स पार्थिव ॥
जयत्य् अभिमुखः शत्रून् पार्थः कृष्णेन पालितः ॥
सविशेषं त्व् अमोघायाः कृष्णो ऽरक्षत पाण्डवम् ॥
हन्यात् क्षिप्ता हि कौन्तेयं शक्तिर् वृक्षम् इवाशनिः ॥

tais tair upāyair bahubhī rakṣyamāṇaḥ sa pārthiva ||
jayaty abhimukhaḥ śatrūn pārthaḥ kṛṣṇena pālitaḥ ||
saviśeṣaṃ tv amoghāyāḥ kṛṣṇo 'rakṣata pāṇḍavam ||
hanyāt kṣiptā hi kaunteyaṃ śaktir vṛkṣam ivāśaniḥ ||

Translation

Protected by those many devices, he, O king, conquers his enemies, advancing to meet them — Partha, guarded by Krishna. But Krishna guarded the Pandava especially from the unfailing dart; for, once hurled, it would have slain the son of Kunti, that dart — like a thunderbolt a tree.
