गदं वीक्ष्य शयानं च भृशं कोपसमन्वितः ॥
स निःशेषं तदा चक्रे शार्ङ्गचक्रगदाधरः ॥
तं निघ्नन्तं महातेजा बभ्रुः परपुरंजयः ॥
दारुकश् चैव दाशार्हम् ऊचतुर् यन् निबोध तत् ॥
भगवन् संहृतं सर्वं त्वया भूयिष्ठम् अच्युत ॥
रामस्य पदम् अन्विच्छ तत्र गच्छाम यत्र सः ॥

rāmasya padam anviccha tatra gacchāma yatra saḥ ||
Seeing Gada lying prostrate, exceedingly filled with rage, the Bearer of Śārṅga, discus, and club then wrought total destruction. As he, the greatly powerful, was thus slaying, Babhru, conqueror of enemy cities, and Dāruka spoke to the descendant of Dāśārha — hear what they said: "O lord, nearly all has been destroyed by you, O Acyuta; seek the track of Rāma — let us go to where he is."

The Lord Himself completes the destruction of the clan — the Bearer of Śārṅga, discus, and club brings the end to those who remain. Thus it is revealed that the doom of the Yādavas is accomplished not despite Krishna but by His own will: He is not a passive witness but the executor of the conclusion of His own līlā, furling the manifest presence He Himself established. Babhru and Dāruka call Him toward Balarāma — the last path leads to the elder brother, through whom the Lord prepares to depart from the world. Even what appears as catastrophic destruction is the act of the Lord Himself, who is master of life and death, concluding His earthly play at the appointed hour; and for the devoted there remains but one thing — to follow after Him, seeking His track, for outside of Him there is neither refuge, nor meaning, nor path.
