स नः पर्षदति दुर्गाणि विश्वा नावेव सिन्धुं दुरितात्यग्निः । त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम् । उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान्मृत्योर्मुक्षीय मामृतात्

sa naḥ parṣadati durgāṇi viśvā nāveva sindhuṃ duritātyagniḥ | tryambakaṃ yajāmahe sugandhiṃ puṣṭivardhanam | urvārukamiva bandhanānmṛtyormukṣīya māmṛtāt

Translation

«May he carry us across all difficulties, as by boat across the sea — Agni, [who is] beyond calamities. — «The three-eyed we worship, fragrant, increasing strength: as a cucumber from its stalk — may I be released from death, but not from immortality».
