Traducción

Suta said: "Thus praised by Kadru, the lord [Indra], whose mount is the bay horses, covered the whole sky with masses of dark-blue clouds. And those clouds, ablaze with lightning, poured forth abundant waters, thundering ceaselessly in the sky as if in contest with one another. The sky seemed to thicken with wondrous, immense clouds that relentlessly poured out incomparable waters with a mighty roar. From countless streams and waves of rain the sky seemed to dance, and the whole firmament was filled with the thunder of roaring clouds. For the serpents the highest joy came, when Vasava (Indra) poured down the rain, and the earth everywhere was filled with water."
