दिशश् च न प्रजानीमो गन्तुं चैव न शक्नुमः ॥
तं च पापं न जानीमो यदि दग्धः पुरोचनः ॥
कथं नु विप्रमुच्येम भयाद् अस्माद् अलक्षिताः ॥
पुनर् अस्मान् उपादाय तथैव व्रज भारत ॥
त्वं हि नो बलवान् एको यथा सततगस् तथा ॥
इत्य् उक्तो धर्मराजेन भीमसेनो महाबलः ॥
आदाय कुन्तीं भ्रातॄंश् च जगामाशु महाबलः ॥

kathaṃ nu vipramucyema bhayād asmād alakṣitāḥ ||

tvaṃ hi no balavān eko yathā satatagas tathā ||
ity ukto dharmarājena bhīmaseno mahābalaḥ ||
ādāya kuntīṃ bhrātṝṃś ca jagāmāśu mahābalaḥ ||

पुनः अस्मान् उपादाय तथा एव व्रज भारतpunaḥ asmān upādāya tathā eva vraja bhāratatake us up again and go just as before, O Bharata;

Traducción

Yudhishthira said: 'What is more painful than this — that we are in a dense forest, and do not know the directions, and are unable to go on; and we do not even know whether that wicked Purochana was burned. How then shall we escape this danger, unnoticed? Take us up again and go just as before, O Bharata; for you alone among us are strong and tireless.' Vaishampayana said: 'Thus entreated by the king of dharma, the mighty Bhimasena took up Kunti and his brothers and went swiftly.'
