Here the brothers pay honor to the one who accomplished the feat. It is significant that they "honor" Bhima: a good family does not take merit for granted but exalts the one who has shielded them all. Gratitude is an adornment of kinship -- one brother's feat is met not with envy but with joy and honor. Thus the verse shows the Pandavas' harmony even in the hour of triumph: each rejoices in his brother's glory as in his own; and from this mutual honoring their unbreakable unity grows.
