रामश् चैवानिरुद्धश् च बभ्रुश् च सहसारणः ॥
गदप्रद्युम्नसाम्बाश् च चारुदेष्णश् च वीर्यवान् ॥
उल्मुको निशठश् चैव वीरः प्राद्युम्निर् एव च ॥
वृष्णयो निखिलेनान्ये समाजग्मुर् महारथाः ॥
एते चान्ये च बहवो राजानो मध्यदेशजाः ॥
आजग्मुः पाण्डुपुत्रस्य राजसूयं महाक्रतुम् ॥
rāmaś caivāniruddhaś ca babhruś ca sahasāraṇaḥ ||
gadapradyumnasāmbāś ca cārudeṣṇaś ca vīryavān ||
ulmuko niśaṭhaś caiva vīraḥ prādyumnir eva ca ||
vṛṣṇayo nikhilenānye samājagmur mahārathāḥ ||
ete cānye ca bahavo rājāno madhyadeśajāḥ ||
ājagmuḥ pāṇḍuputrasya rājasūyaṃ mahākratum ||
Rama [Balarama], Aniruddha, Babhru with Sarana, Gada, Pradyumna, Samba, and the valiant Charudeshna, Ulmuka, Nishatha, and the hero son of Pradyumna — all the other Vrishnis, the great chariot-warriors, gathered there. These and many other kings, born in the Middle Land, came to the Rajasuya of the son of Pandu, the great sacrifice.

The entire Vrishni clan — kin and companions of Krishna — gathers together for the sacrifice. It is notable that wherever the Lord is, His entourage gathers as well: Krishna's presence draws all who are close to Him. The verse teaches that devotees naturally gather near the Lord, as rays cluster around the sun. And this gathering, unlike the assembly of ambitious kings, is united not by advantage but by love for the One at its center. Where Krishna is, there too is the host of those who love Him; and an assembly of devotees is a visible reflection of His own presence.
