Traducción

[Shakuni, naming Draupadi as the stake:] "Neither short nor tall, not too dark-skinned, with eyes touched as if by passionate redness — with her I play against you. With eyes like petals of the autumn lotus, with the fragrance of the autumn lotus, in beauty equal to Shri; such a wife she is in gentleness, in perfection of beauty and of character, as a man would wish to have: the last to lie down, the first to awaken, and knowing all — down to the cowherds and shepherds — what is done and what is not. Her face shines like a lotus, with dew upon it like jasmine; slender-waisted, long-haired, copper-eyed — such a Panchali, slender-waisted and fair of face, is Draupadi, whom I stake, O Saubala."
