Vaishampayana said: "The foremost of archers, having swiftly driven back the enemy host and won back the cattle, turned once more toward Duryodhana, wishing to do a pleasing deed in battle. As the cattle went swiftly on toward the Matsyas, and thinking Kiritin's task accomplished, the finest heroes of the Kurus suddenly fell upon him as he advanced against Duryodhana. Seeing their many dense formations, thick with banners, the destroyer of enemies addressed the son of the Matsya king, Vairati, and said: 'Swiftly drive these white horses harnessed with golden reins; strain every effort of speed and bring me to this mass of lion-like charioteers. The son of the suta, evil of soul, desires to fight with me as elephant with elephant. Bring me to him, O prince, to that man whose pride was born from his reliance on Duryodhana.' The son of Virata, upon those great horses, swift as the wind and girded with golden harness-straps, shattering the ranks of those charioteers, then bore the Pandava into the midst of the battle."

After the cattle have been recovered, Arjuna still advances toward Karna and Duryodhana: the matter is not only about property. Injustice must see that the time of silence is over.
