Traducción

'Come then, Bhishma; let the battle with me begin this very day. Take everything, starting with the chariot, O Kauravya, best of the Bharatas.' When Rama, conqueror of enemy cities, had said this, I bowed my head to him and answered: 'So be it, O king.' Having said this, Rama set out for Kurukshetra, eager for battle. And I entered the city and reported everything to Satyavati. Then, having received my mother's blessing and her approval, I had the brahmins pronounce words of benediction and wishes of well-being. After that, O most radiant one, I mounted a beautiful silvery chariot drawn by white horses, well-equipped, with a sturdy seat and covered with a tiger skin.
