Traducción

In Kushadvipa, O lord of kings, there is a mountain studded with corals; it is called Sudhama, unassailable — the second is a mountain of gold. The third, O Kaurava, is called Dyutiman; the mountain Kumuda is the fourth; the fifth is called Pushpavan, the sixth is Kusheshaya, and the sixth of the finest mountains is Harigiri. Between these finest mountains the intervals double at each division. The first varsha is Audbhida, the second Venumandala, the third Rathakara, the fourth is reckoned Palana, the fifth Dhritimat, the sixth Prabhakara, the seventh Kapila: such are these seven groups of varshas. In them, O lord of the earth, gods, gandharvas, and peoples roam and take their delight; there no one dies. In them there are no bandits, O king, nor even tribes of mlecchas; all the people there are mostly fair and delicate, O earthly lord. O lord of men, now I shall tell of the remaining varshas as I have heard them; listen with a focused mind, O great king.'
