Traducción

Shri Bhagavan said: "O son of Kunti, this body is called the field; one who knows this field is called, by those who know the truth, the knower of the field. Know Me also as the knower of the field in all fields, O Bharata. The knowledge of the field and the knower of the field — this alone, in My opinion, is knowledge. What the field is, of what nature it is, how it changes, from what it arises, who is the knower of the field and what his power is — hear this from Me in brief. It has been sung in many ways by the rishis, set forth separately in various Vedic hymns, and in well-reasoned, firmly established words about Brahman."
