Traducción

Having seen this great array of thy warriors, the maharatha Yudhishthira quickly said to Parshata, the commander of the army: "Behold, great archer, this array made like unto the ocean. And thou, Parshata, without delay set up a counter-array." Then the hero Dhrishtadyumna, O great king, created the exceedingly terrible Shringataka array, destroyer of hostile formations. At its horns stood Bhimasena and the maharatha Satyaki with many thousands of chariots, together with cavalry and infantry. In the center was the best of men — Arjuna, with white horses and the monkey on his banner; there too stood king Yudhishthira and the two Pandavas, sons of Madri. The other great archers, lords of men with their own armies, skilled in the science of battle formations, filled out this array. Behind stood Abhimanyu, the maharatha Virata, the joyful sons of Draupadi, and the rakshasa Ghatotkacha. Thus the Pandavas, O Bharata, having arrayed this great formation, stood in battle as heroes, eager to fight and seeking victory. The tumultuous sounds of drums, mingled with the roar of conches, battle-cries, claps, and shouts, grew terrible on every side.
