ततश् छत्रं ध्वजं चैव छित्त्वा राज्ञो ऽर्जुनः शरैः ॥
विव्याध दशभिस् तूर्णम् उत्स्मयन् पर्वताधिपम् ॥
सो ऽतिविद्धो ऽर्जुनशरैः सुपुङ्खैः कङ्कपत्रिभिः ॥
भगदत्तस् ततः क्रुद्धः पाण्डवस्य महात्मनः ॥
व्यसृजत् तोमरान् मूर्ध्नि श्वेताश्वस्योन्ननाद च ॥
तैर् अर्जुनस्य समरे किरीटं परिवर्तितम् ॥

tataś chatraṃ dhvajaṃ caiva chittvā rājño 'rjunaḥ śaraiḥ ||
vivyādha daśabhis tūrṇam utsmayan parvatādhipam ||
so 'tividdho 'rjunaśaraiḥ supuṅkhaiḥ kaṅkapatribhiḥ ||
bhagadattas tataḥ kruddhaḥ pāṇḍavasya mahātmanaḥ ||
vyasṛjat tomarān mūrdhni śvetāśvasyonnanāda ca ||
tair arjunasya samare kirīṭaṃ parivartitam ||

Traducción

Then, having severed the king's parasol and banner, Arjuna at once wounded the lord of mountains with ten arrows, with a smile. He, deeply wounded by Arjuna's well-feathered arrows with heron-feathers, Bhagadatta, then in rage hurled darts at the head of the great-souled Pandava, him of the white horses, and bellowed; by them the crown of Arjuna was knocked askew in the battle.
