अनुवाद

‘[The hermitage, full of sages,] knowers of the sacrificial rites, skilled in [Vedic] recitation, endowed with the knowledge of logic and the essence of things, who had mastered the Vedas; [sages] skilled in the combination and joining of various utterances, knowers of special [ritual] acts, devoted to the dharma of liberation; [sages] who had attained knowledge of [the art of] assertion, refutation, [firm] conclusion, and the highest truth, and the foremost [among knowers] of Lokayata — everywhere [that hermitage] resounded [with them]. The slayer of enemy heroes [the king] saw there on every side self-controlled men, firm in their vows, devoted to [quiet] prayer and oblations, perfected, the finest brahmanas. The king, having seen the carefully arranged seats, [adorned] with flowers, of varied kinds, was filled with wonder. And that best of kings, having seen the worship of the shrines of the gods performed by the twice-born, deemed himself as if dwelling in the world of Brahma. He, gazing upon that blessed, excellent hermitage, guarded by the austerity of Kashyapa, [full] of throngs of sages rich in austerity, could not be satisfied. That slayer of foes, with his minister and chaplain, entered the abode of Kashyapa, surrounded on every side by sages of great vows, rich in austerity — secluded, exceedingly enchanting, auspicious.’
