अनुवाद

"Kripi, ever devoted to the agnihotra, to dharma, and to self-restraint, obtained a son -- Ashvatthaman. The moment he was born, he neighed like the horse Uchchaihshravas; and hearing that, an unseen being in the sky said: 'Since the voice of him, neighing like a horse, has spread through the quarters of the sky, therefore this boy shall be called by the name Ashvatthaman.' By that son Drona became greatly delighted, and, dwelling there still, the wise one remained devoted to the science of archery."
