दुर्योधन उवाच
भीमस्य वाक्ये तद्वद् एवार्जुनस्य; स्थितो ऽहं वै यमयोश् चैवम् एव ॥
युधिष्ठिरं चेत् प्रवदन्त्य् अनीशम्; अथो दास्यान् मोक्ष्यसे याज्ञसेनि ॥
अर्जुन उवाच
ईशो राजा पूर्वम् आसीद् ग्लहे नः; कुन्तीपुत्रो धर्मराजो महात्मा ॥
ईशस् त्व् अयं कस्य पराजितात्मा; तज् जानीध्वं कुरवः सर्व एव ॥

bhīmasya vākye tadvad evārjunasya; sthito 'haṃ vai yamayoś caivam eva ||

īśo rājā pūrvam āsīd glahe naḥ; kuntīputro dharmarājo mahātmā ||
īśas tv ayaṃ kasya parājitātmā; taj jānīdhvaṃ kuravaḥ sarva eva ||

कुन्ती-पुत्रो धर्म-राजो महा-आत्माkuntī-putro dharma-rājo mahā-ātmāthe son of Kunti, Dharmaraja, great of soul;
ईशस् त्व् अयं कस्य पराजित-आत्माīśas tv ayaṃ kasya parājita-ātmābut whose master is he now, having lost himself? —

अनुवाद

[Vidura:] "I stand on the word of Bhima, and equally on the word of Arjuna and both twins: if they declare Yudhishthira to be not her master, then, O Yajnaseni, you will be freed from slavery. Master was the king before, at our stake — the son of Kunti, Dharmaraja, great of soul; but whose master is he now, having lost himself? Know this, O Kurus, all of you together."
