अनुवाद

I consecrated the incomparable discus Sudarshana, spotless, with a razor's edge, blazing like fire, able to reduce Yakshas, Rakshasas, Danavas, and hostile kings to ash. 'Kill the Saubha and my enemies,' I said, and hurled it with the strength of my arm. The Sudarshana flew through the sky like a second sun at the end of an age. It reached the Saubha and split the city in two, as a saw splits a tall tree; the Saubha fell, like Tripura struck down by the arrow of Maheshvara. The discus returned to my hand, and I sent it again against Shalva. It cleft Shalva, who was whirling his heavy mace, and blazed with splendor. The Danavas fled in terror. I blew my conch and gladdened my friends. Thus, having slain Shalva and brought down the Saubha, I returned to the Anartas and brought joy to my kin.
