अनुवाद

Vaishampayana said: 'Then another Pandava, a lord, appeared, while King Virata was inspecting his horses. Common people saw him approaching, like the orb of the sun released from a cloud. He looked over the horses carefully from every side, and the king of the Matsyas noticed him. Then the slayer of enemies said to his companions: "Where does this man come from, radiant as an immortal? He is looking so intently at my horses; surely he will prove a discerning connoisseur of horses. Quickly bring him near me: the hero shines like a god." Approaching the king, the slayer of enemies said: "Victory to you, O king, and good fortune! I am always esteemed in matters concerning horses, my lord; I can become your skilled royal groom."'
