यद्य् एष राजा कौरव्यः कुन्तीपुत्रो युधिष्ठिरः ॥
कतमो ऽस्यार्जुनो भ्राता भीमश् च कतमो बली ॥
नकुलः सहदेवो वा द्रौपदी वा यशस्विनी ॥
यदा द्यूते जिताः पार्था न प्राज्ञायन्त ते क्व चित् ॥
virāṭa uvāca
yady eṣa rājā kauravyaḥ kuntīputro yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ||
katamo 'syārjuno bhrātā bhīmaś ca katamo balī ||
nakulaḥ sahadevo vā draupadī vā yaśasvinī ||
yadā dyūte jitāḥ pārthā na prājñāyanta te kva cit ||
Virata said: 'If this is the Kaurava king, Yudhishthira, son of Kunti, then which of them is his brother Arjuna? Which is mighty Bhima? Which are Nakula and Sahadeva? And where is glorious Draupadi? When the Parthas were lost at dice, they could not be recognized anywhere.'
