अनुवाद

Then King Pandava clasped his hand, and all the others, with Vasudeva at their head, respectfully greeted him. Halayudha, the subduer of foes, bowed to the elder Virata and Drupada and sat down beside Yudhishthira. When all the kings around had taken their seats, the son of Rohini, gazing at Vasudeva, said: 'This destruction of men will be extremely fierce and terrible. I believe this is surely ordained by fate and cannot be averted. My wish is this: may I see you, together with your friends and kin, emerge from this war healthy and with your bodies unhurt.'
