यथा रामो बाणजालाभितप्तस्; तथैवाहं सुभृशं गाढविद्धः ॥
ततो युद्धं व्यरमच् चापराह्णे; भानाव् अस्तं प्रार्थयाने महीध्रम् ॥

yathā rāmo bāṇajālābhitaptas; tathaivāhaṃ subhṛśaṃ gāḍhaviddhaḥ ||
tato yuddhaṃ vyaramac cāparāhṇe; bhānāv astaṃ prārthayāne mahīdhram ||

अनुवाद

As Rama was tormented by the net of arrows, so too was I most severely and deeply pierced. Then toward evening the battle ceased, as the sun began to incline toward the mountain of its setting.
