अनुवाद

The yaksha said: 'O daughter of a king, I have been cursed by Vaishravana because of you. Go now wherever you wish, and roam the worlds as pleases you. I think this was ordained beforehand and could not be avoided — your coming and the appearance of the son of Pulastya.' Bhishma said: 'Thus addressed by the yaksha Sthuna, Shikhandin, O descendant of Bharata, returned to the city filled with great joy. With various fragrances, garlands, and rich gifts he honored the twice-born, the deities, the shrines, and the crossroads. Drupada, together with his son Shikhandin, who had attained his purpose, obtained the highest joy together with his kinsmen.'
