अनुवाद

The earth constantly trembles, and Rahu has seized the sun. A white planet, having passed beyond Chitra, stands there; a most dreadful comet, having occupied Pushya, foretells above all the destruction of the Kurus. A great planet will bring dreadful ill fortune upon the two armies: Mars moves retrograde in Magha, and Brihaspati stands in Shravana. The constellation Bhaga is oppressed by the son of the Sun; O lord of the peoples, Shukra, having risen upon the first Proshthapada and circled around the northern one, gazes back together with another luminary. A dark, blazing, smoky, fiery planet has occupied the radiant constellation of Indra, Jyeshtha. Blazing Dhruva moves dreadfully counter-clockwise; between Chitra and Svati stands a harsh planet. A fiery-radiant, red-bodied luminary, moving retrograde, has surrounded the domain of Brahma in Shravana. The earth is covered with every crop and hung with fruit, yet the barley bears five ears, and the rice a hundred.
