अनुवाद

"I am Sanjaya, O great king; homage to you, O bull of the Bharatas. Bhishma, son of Shantanu, grandsire of the Bharatas, has been struck down. The summit of all warriors, the refuge of all bowmen, the grandsire of the Kurus, lies today upon a bed of arrows. That Bhishma, on whose valor your son relied when he staged the game of dice, lies struck down, O king: in battle he has been felled by Shikhandin."
