अनुवाद

Arjuna, the tiger among men, having seen Bhishma the great chariot-warrior, said to Varshneya in anger: "Go to where the grandfather is. This furious Bhishma, devoted to Duryodhana's welfare, will surely destroy my army, O Varshneya. Here are Drona, Kripa, Shalya, and Vikarna, O Janardana, and the sons of Dhritarashtra with Duryodhana at their head: protected by that steadfast archer, they will annihilate the Panchalas. Therefore I shall go to Bhishma for the army's sake, O Janardana." Vasudeva answered him: "Be resolute, Dhananjaya. I shall now carry you, hero, straight to the grandfather's chariot." Having spoken thus, Shauri brought that chariot, famed throughout the world, to Bhishma, O lord of men: it had many fluttering pennants, horses the color of cranes, a tall, terribly roaring monkey standard raised aloft, the great thunder of a storm-cloud, and the radiance of the sun.
