ततो ऽप्रीतस् तथोक्तः स भारद्वाजो ऽब्रवीन् नृपम् ॥
नार्हसे मान्यथा ज्ञातुं घटमानं तव प्रिये ॥
ससुरासुरगन्धर्वाः सयक्षोरगराक्षसाः ॥
नालं लोका रणे जेतुं पाल्यमानं किरीटिना ॥
विश्वसृग् यत्र गोविन्दः पृतनारिस् तहार्जुनः ॥
तत्र कस्य बलं क्रामेद् अन्यत्र त्र्यम्बकात् प्रभोः ॥

nārhase mānyathā jñātuṃ ghaṭamānaṃ tava priye ||
sasurāsuragandharvāḥ sayakṣoragarākṣasāḥ ||
nālaṃ lokā raṇe jetuṃ pālyamānaṃ kirīṭinā ||
viśvasṛg yatra govindaḥ pṛtanāris tahārjunaḥ ||
tatra kasya balaṃ krāmed anyatra tryambakāt prabhoḥ ||

अनुवाद

Then, grieved at these words, the son of Bharadvaja spoke to the king: "It does not befit you to think wrongly of me, who strive for your good. [Even] all the worlds — with the gods, asuras and gandharvas, with the yakshas, serpents and rakshasas — are not able to conquer in battle the army guarded by the Diademed One. Where the creator of the universe, Govinda, and Arjuna, destroyer of enemy hosts, are present — there whose strength would prevail, except the Lord's, three-eyed Shiva's?"
