संजय उवाच
इति सात्यकये प्राह तदा देवकिनन्दनः ॥
धनंजयहिते युक्तस् तत्प्रिये सततं रतः ॥

saṃjaya uvāca
iti sātyakaye prāha tadā devakinandanaḥ ||
dhanaṃjayahite yuktas tatpriye satataṃ rataḥ ||

शब्दशः अर्थ

इति सात्यकये प्राहiti sātyakaye prāhathus to Satyaki said; thus spoke Satyaki
तदा देवकिनन्दनःtadā devakinandanaḥthen the delight of Devaki; then the son of Devaki [Krishna]
धनंजयहिते युक्तःdhanaṃjayahite yuktaḥ[in] Dhananjaya's welfare intent; devoted to the welfare of Dhananjaya
तत्प्रिये सततम् रतःtatpriye satatam rataḥ[in] his pleasure ever devoted; ever devoted to pleasing him
अनुवाद

Thus spoke the son of Devaki [Krishna], devoted to the welfare of Dhananjaya, ever intent on pleasing him.
